What is the difference between capacity buff and atk/def buff? not really clear on that. Thx
ReplyDeleteCapacity buff is an additional buff that adds to ATK mainly. Its different from normal ATK/DEF buff.
DeleteFor example a 15% capacity buff and a 15% ATK buff.
Lets say you have 10k COM damage.
15% means both buff gives you 11.5k com damage.
However only the capacity buff damage will be computed for the MDR damage. See tutorial section. For those that used the ATK buff will still see the damage as 10k damage.
Capacity buff normally adds to all 3 attacks (except yuji and zuo ci), COM, TCA and STA. Since its a additional buff. It adds to heal. Note: % buff like %STA does not adds to heal but +STA adds to heal . You need to dig out my previous comments or ~Ash~ in forum on this.
No matter what Capacity Buff is much better than Astronomy Buff/ Normal ATK/DEF buff

ReplyDeleteBtw i just want to make clear, SJ and GZL basically deals the same damage in terms of TCA apart from their BV? Buff everything else are the same right? because your att/def buff also confused me a little. I thought for once that GZL deals additional dmg than SJ in the 2nd round due to ATT/DEFF buff but that sounds like what GCR would do instead. Please CMIIW.

ReplyDeleteYou need to read my excel spreadsheet (Under section 1 of tutorial) carefully.
SZL does add a ATK/DEF buff which adds to more damage than Sun Jian buff. However the ATK buff of SZL is an "astronomy buff" which does not stack attack with Mil. Band buff which is the buff of Super Cao Ren.
So, if the following formation is used:
SZL + SCR against SJ + SCR
Only defense buff is better off
However if the following formation is used
SZL + Normal Honor Guard against SJ + Normal Honor Guard
Both Attack and defense buff is better for SZL.

arhh i see.. I just saw your excel more clearly. so GZL, apart from capacity buff that SJ also have, adds up the ATK Buff... but if we do have SCR, SCR attack boost will not boost his attack anymore d way it already is?

also i heard somewhere that his 2nd turn damage should deal more damage than his first? No idea if its true or not.
Yes. I find it extremely troublesome to explain that in forum. Hope they go find out this comment here lol. Astronomy attack buff does not stack with Mil.Band. You can double verify. I am pretty sure many ppl in China forum tested out.

Comparing both, only DEF1 is missing.
Contrary, if the player does not put SCR
DeleteSZL + SCR (Assuming SZL placed first, SCR second)
1) SZL attack with TCA3
2) Activates Astronomy Buff (ATK1/DEF1 Buff) + Capacity Buf (ATK2)

For SDC and SXS buff, another different color, but similiar to Astronomy buff, does it stack with Astronomy buff in this sense?
Yes. It does not stack.
DeleteSDC and SXS buff is A LOT. So much so that you cannot tell the difference between Astronomy or other buff. So, for now we can take it that it stacks, even if it does not stack, it should not affect ur usage as they'll make a single hero become very powerful for that one and first round only.
